To explore the influence of task-based teaching plan on students′ learning engagement and learning effects in experiment courses
this study designed teaching plans based on the engagement theory and according to the following principles: motivating students to learn actively through tasks
promoting cooperative learninge by establishing a learning community
strengthening teacher-student interaction and feedback
and whole-process multidimensional evaluation. This paper analyzed the effects of such teaching plan through classroom observations
questionnaires
and data analysis. The results showed that task-centered instructional design could improve student engagement in learning
