The publication of high-level academic books on traditional Chinese medicine is an important support for the development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry.Cultivating editorial talents that meet the needs of traditional Chinese medicine book publishing in the new era is foundamental to the production of high-quality Chinese medicine books. This paper categorizes editors into three levels
junior editors
core editors
and leading editors. Based on the characteristics of these three types of editors
the paper focuses on the cultivation of basic qualities that editors should possess
key issues in talent cultivation such as the growth of young editors
the loss of editorial talents
the exploration of talent potential
and the cultivation of top talents. It systematically elaborates on how to adopt targeted training methods to achieve optimal talent cultivation results.
